Nano Fish Tank COMBO- Fish- Betta Leaf Lounge (LL) and Floating Plant Protector (FPP4.1 Nano)

The Fishnacks FPP, or Floating Plant Protector (FPP4.1 Nano), is an excellent addition to nano aquariums with floating plants. Complimenting your aquarium this floating, automatic leveling, barrier ensures that your plants will thrive and grow without disruption. Manufactured with fish safe PETG, the durable structure provides infinite service life with minimal maintenance requirements. Integrated floats made from high density EPS foam (also fish safe) provide buoyancy and will not retain water overtime.
Two (2) mounting configurations are included with all FPP4.1 Nano kits, magnetic and suction cups. The magnetic mount configuration works well in rimless aquarium layouts where there’s ample backside space to locate the magnetic backing plates. The suction cup configuration works well with rimmed tanks, or aquariums with tight packaging requirements. Either way, the flexibility of two mounting configurations ensures there’s a solution for your aquarium setup.
All components are engineered to prevent floating plants from floating over AND keeps them from being pulled under the barriers. Best yet, the aesthetically pleasing design adds functionality and a custom touch to your aquarium without sacrificing visual appeal.
FPP stands for Floating Plant Protector, but there are countless other applications:
1. The barrier protects all sizes of floating plants by establishing a plant No Float Zone around the turbulent filter outflow. As the water level decreases due to evaporation the floats auto-level up to 2.5 inches. The auto-leveling design also works well with turbulent surfaces. Check the width (w) and aquarium wall offset (d) of your filter to ensure compatibility. The FPP4.1 Nano is designed to function with most filters, however the width and offset of the filter should not exceed 4.1" and 1.6", respectively.
2. The boundaries can be utilized as a designated feed zone, facilitating predictable fish food sinking, prohibiting food from drifting throughout the aquarium, and provides a trained location of your choosing to feed your fish.
3. Similarly, establish a plant No Float Zone over other undesirable regions; like sponge filter lift tubes, bubblers, and prevents tangling with aeration tubing or heaters.
4. Utilized in reverse from its typical application the floating barriers can confine plants within its border. This works well for aquariums with just a few plants to prevent them from wandering across the surface into undesirable locations.

The leaf lounge was inspired by the resting habits of betta fish near the surface of the water; however, the design of the leaf lounge caters to fish, snails, and shrimp a like, providing a sanctuary for the animals to feel safe and sheltered from the surrounding environment. The leafy design mimics the look and shape of natural leaves. For added aqua-scaping flexibility, multiple variations are available, along with the option to buy as a set. Additionally, multiple leaf lounges may be necessary for community tanks to expand habitat for territorial fish.
